"The Blue Dress" Dec. 7, 2005
The inspiration for this painting came from a photograph taken during the photo shoot of my OOAK Fashion Doll, Ms. Charlotte Nightingale. The dress I designed for Ms. Charlotte Nightingale was inspired by a dress I saw in a magazine, worn by Uma Thurman to one of those big award shows that celebrities are always attending. Wish I would remember what event and magazine but I’m writing this a decade after the fact and the details escape me now.
